Golden necklace

There was a baby girl born into a family almost 40 years back. Her parents were very happy when she was born. They adored her. They wanted to give her everything, but they couldn't because they never had enough money. Later she was joined by a younger sister. And then there was a golden necklace. A small necklace. Ghosts in the mango orchard

I am most certain it was summer of 1987. There were lots of kids in the neighborhood. Unni, Kuttan, Rajani, Raju, Babiechi etc etc. Ammu and her little sister were in elementary school. Summer times used to be splendid with lots of fun/friends/games/swimming.  One of the fondest memories of summer time was about a mango orchard in the neighborhood. There were about 20 mango trees there. Each mango tasted very different. At first, Ammu couldn't believe that there could be that many varieties of mangoes. There were very tiny mangoes and very big mangoes. Sweet mangoes and sour mangoes. Green mangoes, red mangoes and yellow mangoes. Mangoes which had worms inside all the time, mangoes which didn't even have a spot on those. Daughter of the devil or Angel in white?

This is one my favorite lines in my very limited knowledge of western music, and I love it. From one of the Eagles songs. I really don't know how to describe the feeling, but it is like an infactuation. "I have been searching for the daughter of the devil himself I have been searching for an angel in white" I don't rememebr when I heard it first. Probably I didn't understand any words when I heard it first time and I did have to read the lyrics to totally understand the words. It was definitely not a love at first hearing. It was a maturing love, increasing bit by bit, gradually but constantly. Each time I hear it, I love it little bit more than the last time. The voice is very masculine and sexy and the guitar playing in the background is mesmorizing. So, I started pondering about it! What did the writer mean? Dosen't all women little bit mean and good?
